Biltoki - Halles d'Annecy

We tried the Asian cuisine, which was very good, very well prepared. A great experience. The atmosphere is pleasant, with a good selection and plenty of seating. It's great to finally have a food hall in Annecy. They're so common abroad, but unfortunately, there are far too few in France.

I expected much better. The prices are way too high, 4 euros for a 20cl Coke, we're not in Dubai 🤔 especially when you're the one serving yourself 🤬 The shopkeepers are really unfriendly. A great project that's become a haven for hipsters, what a shame...

A perfect family outing at Les Halles. A very special mention to Tête de Lard. The meat is incredibly good, and the prices are very reasonable (€7 for a REAL steak and (fresh) fries for a child). They carve and cook the meat right there in front of the customers. A very friendly team, and impeccable service. 🥩 We'll be back for the ribeye steak!

Biltoki Annecy, The couscous was terrible, no chili sauce, and the service was appalling. Avoid it. On the other hand, the Mexican corner was very good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the stables and gardens are absolutely beautiful. A haven of peace in Annecy.

Too noisy

The renovation of the Annecy stud farms has been a success. The food court concept is excellent: plenty of choice, ample space, and plenty of tables. It's also very pleasant for a simple coffee break, away from the crowds along the lake.

A pleasant place to meet up with friends or family. One complaint, however: the smoking ban is not respected, particularly on the outdoor terrace where many children regularly eat with their parents.

We tried the La Madone stand and unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. We ordered two dishes: linguine with salmon and spinach ravioli. Both were simply inedible. The pasta was far too overcooked, completely bland, and tasteless. The linguine with salmon was insipid, and the ravioli wasn't much better. Honestly, I've rarely eaten pasta of such poor quality, especially for nearly €30 for two dishes. Wanting to offer constructive criticism, I approached the owner to calmly explain what was wrong. Instead of listening, he replied in an aggressive and sarcastic tone: "Thank you for your constructive feedback." I confirmed that it was indeed constructive, explaining precisely why the dishes were bad, but he clearly didn't want to hear the criticism. At that price, one has the right to expect a minimum level of quality and a little consideration for customers. A very disappointing experience from beginning to end. Personally, I won't be going back and I absolutely do not recommend this stall.
