Les Ecuries du Pré Carré

The restaurant is located in a small square away from the crowds. The service was excellent, with friendly waiters. The food was superb. We tried the Savoyard fondue and the French toast: delicious!

Classic brasserie fare. Don't go there expecting to discover new things or be surprised. Just slapping a name on a menu isn't enough… a bit disappointing. The service was excellent and friendly. There was a mix-up with the desserts (it happens), but they were offered them free of charge. Kudos for the service and the gesture of goodwill.

My second visit to this establishment and once again a truly delightful experience, both for the quality of the food and the service! I highly recommend it.

A very disappointing experience. We simply wanted to order a drink and have it standing on the terrace to watch the match being broadcast on the TVs. We were told that this wasn't possible. It's the establishment's policy, and we accepted it. However, what is unacceptable is the way this was communicated to us. Surprised, we simply replied that some bars in Paris allow it and that, having only been in Annecy since 2021, I didn't know it wasn't done here. It wasn't meant as a reproach or criticism. The person who seemed to be the manager then replied: "Here, we're just poor little provincials." Such a remark is inappropriate, contemptuous, and completely unnecessary. A simple refusal would have been more than sufficient. One can enforce the rules of one's establishment while remaining respectful of one's customers. We left without ordering anything, with the feeling of having been treated condescendingly. What a shame.

A really nice restaurant with a great team. The staff are welcoming and energetic, always smiling. In addition to a great atmosphere during the match broadcasts, we enjoyed the food and cocktails. We can't wait to come back for the World Cup semi-final!
