I'm stunned by the absurd prices this place charges!!! This isn't the French Riviera, after all!! €5 for an ice cream (Magnum!!) €5 for a tasteless smoothie! Honestly, I won't be going back!

It's Sunday in early September, I called and got an answering machine saying it was open, but when I arrived everything was closed... they make their money with tourists and there's no need to open for locals, it's outrageous!

The staff is lovely, both in the restaurant and the snack bar. Beautiful view of the lake. Simple but good food. A great place to spend a pleasant time, whether you're on vacation or just want to feel like you are! I have serious doubts about the motives of the pathetic people who left these false negative reviews. The town hall is responsible for the beach toilets and trash, and decides on and receives the entrance fees, not the restaurant. As for me, I have no financial stake in leaving a positive review. And I'm completely honest.

Great restaurant with a magnificent view

The restaurant on Menthon St Bernard beach is open from early morning until almost 9 pm. The food is quite tasty and the wait is rather short. The welcome is warm and friendly. The prices, as you can see in my photos, are not too high for the Annecy area. Access to the restaurant is via the beach, which is subject to a fee from morning until 7 pm... €4.30 per day. The nearby parking lot is free. On this beach, in addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also play volleyball, ping pong, go diving, and there is a playground for children.

The staff is awful: no greeting, no thanks, they have absolutely no consideration for their customers and speak incredibly rudely. I've come back twice thinking it was just an off day, but the owner is just one of the worst offenders. Run away! And here's a piece of advice: find another job.

We had dinner at this restaurant last night to take shelter from the storm. Given the prices on the menu, we expected quality food, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The welcome wasn't particularly warm, but it wasn't unpleasant either. The fries, fried calamari, and breaded fish and chips led us to believe that the oil wasn't of the highest quality; two adults became ill and vomited after the meal. The setting is lovely, it's a shame the quality wasn't there, and that the fried food could be dangerous.

Avoid this restaurant! The food is terrible, everything is frozen. The prices are outrageous. It's truly one of the worst places I've ever eaten. If you want a good salad, go to Monoprix instead; you won't be disappointed!

We decided to eat in the restaurant. There were two adults, a 7-year-old child, and a 2-month-old baby. The waitress seated us in the sun. We asked to move so the baby could be in the shade. We did, but she wasn't happy because other customers were passing by and there was a table of eight behind us. She consulted her manager and decided to seat us at a table in the shade, but with instructions to move the stroller when the group of eight arrived so as not to disturb them. We asked if we could share a pizza, but given its size, it wasn't allowed. We were then told to leave the restaurant area and go to the snack bar. I found this very disrespectful. And the waitress from the restaurant rushed off to tell the waitress at the snack bar. Unpleasant staff. What a shame. On the other hand, the four-cheese pizza was good. I should have checked the reviews first!

It's beautiful, it's delicious, and it smells like vacation! The team is relaxed and efficient, the dishes are beautifully presented, and the view is amazing! What more could you ask for?

We couldn't even share a 33cm pizza... It's incomprehensible that they don't allow sharing food... but judging by the reviews, maybe it's for the best... we were ushered to the snack bar like we were nothing. We were told we'd have to go back through the restaurant to leave because we hadn't paid the €4.60 beach entrance fee... The service at the snack bar was terrible. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza that had absolutely no flavor... four pieces of canned pineapple were practically fighting each other... even the ham was tasteless. The toilets were self-cleaning, but there was no toilet paper or water to wash our hands... when we wanted to leave, we were told it wasn't possible during service, and a waiter finally snapped, very coldly, "Let them go!" I strongly recommend avoiding this place; it's unacceptable to treat customers this way.

It took me a while to write this review because I've never been so disappointed by an establishment. Being locals, we come here regularly when the weather's nice and have lunch: poke bowls, pizza… very, very average and expensive for a snack, but we didn't mention it because we didn't want to offend people we didn't know. What prompted this review is that I wanted an ice cream that was on their menu: a classic Miko Cornetto, which I've been eating for over 25 years! My husband went to get it; he asked the woman, who was about sixty, if that was the one… she assured him… so far, so good, and he brought it back for me. Unfortunately, it was a Madagascar vanilla Cornetto. And I'm sorry, but I don't like it; that's my right as a consumer. I went back to point out the mistake; she laughed in my face with her young waitress. She has other things to do… she talks about me to customers, telling them I'm ridiculous… but what gives her the right? Your customers are the ones who keep you in business! And I was very polite. I told you you were wrong, that's all! That doesn't justify making fun of me in front of other people and in front of me. For your information, I called Miko Rhône Alpes, your distributor, who confirmed they were out of stock and were delivering vanilla Cornettos as a replacement. It would have been professional of you to know that instead of brushing me off (to put it politely!) while assuring me it was a classic. Mocking people, especially when you're wrong, is a sign of utter stupidity! Avoid these completely disrespectful businesses! Haute-Savoie deserves better.
