We didn't get a chance to try the establishment for one reason: we greeted one of the bartenders, who replied and then cut us off to talk to his colleagues, ignoring us for a full five minutes. We simply wanted to ask if we should order at the bar or take a seat, which was a very polite and well-intentioned approach. We were snubbed; what a shame for the residents of Rumilly to be treated like that… We left without saying a word; we were so shocked…

You'll be immediately put at ease by the warm welcome from the waitress, who is a ray of sunshine 🙂 The menu is small, but the food is high quality! The portions are generous, and the setting by the water is very pleasant 🙂 And dogs are very welcome too 😉. I highly recommend it!!

The setting is pleasant, but our experience was very disappointing. An elderly lady I know simply asked, very politely, if it would be possible to have four portions of fries, as the prices were particularly high. For example, a Caesar salad costs €18, a price rarely seen, even in some downtown brasseries. The person who appeared to be the owner responded haughtily. We heard him say, "What's wrong with everyone today?" and then, "There's a McDonald's next door," openly mocking us. This lack of respect towards an elderly person, who had only asked a simple question, is unacceptable. Furthermore, claiming to be overwhelmed with about twenty covers to serve seems difficult to understand. Pressure is part of the job, but it doesn't justify a poor welcome or derogatory remarks to customers. It's a shame, because the setting is pleasant. En revanche, l’attitude du personnel ce jour-là ne donne absolument pas envie de revenir.

Simple but effective. Good cocktails. Excellent charcuterie boards. Top-notch service. Pleasant atmosphere. I recommend it.

We had the pleasure of rediscovering a lovely place, excellent fisherman's salad, refreshing desserts, and a pleasant walk around the shaded lake.

Back with us, Olivia is still smiling and very pleasant. Lunch was excellent (butcher's cut). A friendly place that I recommend. Thanks to Christophe and Stéphane.

Friendly setting. However, the owner and the staff aren't great... they'd rather play dice than mix a cocktail. He's all alone at the lake, no direct competition, so he can do whatever he wants... Don't hesitate to go down a little further to the karting bar, at least the music and staff are much more welcoming.

We had lunch there today! The food was excellent, generous, and delicious. The green salad with cantaloupe and sweet melon, plus a wonderful dressing, was absolutely delicious. The waitress was very attentive, pleasant, and efficient. I highly recommend it!
