Admittedly, the person who served us was very friendly. She offered us what we thought was the daily special, advertised at €18, and, being in a hurry, we accepted without question. A basic fish dish (cod) on pasta with a simple curry sauce, perfectly acceptable for a basic daily special (I emphasize, basic) at €18, something to eat quickly during your lunch break. When it came time to pay, the bombshell dropped: the daily special turned out to be an à la carte dish at €28, the price of a fish that, at that price, should have looked us straight in the eye while we ate it. A glass of rosé, a Coke, two dishes, and there you have it, a meal costing nearly €70! We would have been better off opting for the pizzas, which seem to be a crowd-pleaser. In short, a bad memory.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We ordered the Pizza Tempa, the Pizza Bolognese, and the Pizza 3 Fromages – all three were excellent! The pizzas were generously topped with fresh ingredients and tasted fantastic. The portions are very large, so we were absolutely stuffed afterward. The value for money is excellent. If you're looking for good, authentic pizza with plenty of toppings, this is the place to go. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!

Open on Sundays and with ample parking, which is rare around the lake. A real treat: the lamb shank. Delicious cod sauce. Pleasant service. Worth discovering.

Nice restaurant. The owner is super friendly, pleasant, and always smiling, as is the staff, who are always attentive and make sure everyone, young and old, enjoys themselves. The pizzas are a real treat, as are the other dishes! Amandine

My wife and I stopped by for a drink. I was served a beer and told they only had Heneiken. I said OK. He was in a hurry and busy preparing dinner. Then a foreign couple arrived and were offered a whole selection of beers and served food?! I have nothing against foreigners, quite the contrary, they contribute to the local economy, so this is a bit much. So they rushed me out with some kind of beer and made it clear they weren't going to cook for us at the moment. Plus, it was very expensive. We're from the area. I think you have to be a foreigner to get good service. Avoid this place.

I came to La Mascotte after reading several reviews online, including one from a couple who criticized the quality of the fish. After trying it myself, I think they were completely wrong. The cod loin with curry sauce was excellent, perfectly cooked, and very flavorful. The side dishes were also very well done. It's a wonderful place that's well worth a visit. A delightful surprise that I highly recommend.

The fish was cold and tasteless, just tilapia fillet in a thin curry sauce. It was supposed to be served with tagliatelle, but they came with fries and bread. The price was €64, far too expensive.... we won't be coming back here. It's a shame, we felt ripped off. This choice was based on the waiter's recommendation; it's a rubbish place.

Cold fish in curry sauce, and instead of pasta, we got fries with it. Well, that's just awful, and then having to pay 64 euros for it too—what a bunch of scammers.

We had a very good meal at a table for four on the terrace. The owner was very understanding despite our dogs being a bit restless, and he was very professional and friendly. Thank you for the after-dinner drink ;)

Fantastic meal!! Very friendly staff, delicious pizza. The daily special, a half chicken, is highly recommended – excellent!!! We ate outside facing the mountains; it was perfect 👍 The bikers from Vaucluse and Aube.
